Simple hack for more long-stay bookings

David Kijlstra shared a cool trick for spotting companies that are relocating employees to your city, a handy tip if you want to grow long stays at hotels.

  1. On LinkedIn Sales Navigator, search for a company like Netflix, filter by “Changed jobs” and “Less than 1 year,” then narrow it to your city.
  2. Look for international names and check where they worked before—if it’s somewhere like New York or Berlin, chances are they’ve been relocated.

Repeat this for everyone on the list, and you’ll get a good idea of how many employees have been relocated.

David states that this works best for industries that move specialists, like developers, data analysts, or execs - not so much for local sales teams or trainees.
