A plant-based menu could snag more guests

Traveling as a vegetarian can be an adventure, and sometimes not the fun kind!

Take Spain, for example, I once found that the only “vegetarian” option on a menu was a tuna salad. Yep, not even kidding.

But when only 1.4% of the Spanish population is vegetarian, it’s no surprise that local restaurants aren’t exactly overflowing with plant-based choices.

If your hotel is in a country where the vegetarian population is also low, but you frequently host guests from countries where the rate is higher, then offering a dedicated veggie menu could be the tipping point in their decision to stay.
